A Bumper Crop of Winners at the Bridgewater Country Fair
Each year one of the main attractions of the Bridgewater Country Fair, which was held Aug. 20-22, is the competitions—everything from the arts and home crafts to agriculture-related contests.
RafflesThe top prize, however, is awarded in an automobile raffle that benefits the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department, as do the other proceeds for the fair. Jeanine Muckle of New Milford had the winning ticket for a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado FWD pick-up truck. The second prize, a 42-inch Panasonic Viera full HD TV with Wii game system and Band Hero, went to Candee Kilian of Bridgewater; third, a $550 gift certificate for a one-hour hot air balloon ride service for two people redeemable at Money Time, Inc., Tom Presby of Bridgewater; fourth, an Apple iPad 16G WIFI, Steve Berger of Bridgewater; fifth, Paintball package and two day passes redeemable at Yankee Paintball, George Easterbrook of Bantam; and sixth, an HPX Gator, Bill Bennett of Warren.
